Autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, lupus, and psoriasis, are caused by the dysfunction of the immune system in which the body attacks its own organs, cells, and tissues. These disorders afflict millions of patients, an estimated 5-8% of the world’s population.

Our lead candidate in the autoimmune disease area has now completed its global Phase II clinical trials to treat Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’ s disease. We have multiple clinical and discovery stage candidates targeting various proteins critical for the function of the immune system.
