Collaboration Overview

HMP has entered into drug discovery and development agreements with Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, Merck KGaA and Procter & Gamble. In particular, the partnership between HMP and Johnson & Johnson marks the largest ever in the Chinese pharmaceutical industry, with upfront and milestone payments of up to $100 million.

Those partnerships validate our business model and quality of its drug discovery and development.  Our collaboration with large pharmaceutical companies represents a new model of innovative drug discovery & development partnerships for the Chinese pharmaceutical R&D industry.  This kind of risk/reward and IP sharing model could quickly advance China’s new drug R&D capability to global level.
